Mostadam - Main Profile
Permaculture specialist with 10 years of experience. My passion for natural life was lit in a WWOOFing experience in off-the-grid educational center in Turkey in 2010 where I had the opportunity to manage and live there for 3.5 years. This passion became a profession through the Permaculture design system that allowed me to bring to the world and to my local environment solutions to problems. Since then, I have been designing and implementing innovative ecological and urban gardening/farming systems and solutions carefully planned for the mediterranean climate and the unique Palestinian context, involving landless people, refugees, school students and small-scale gardeners.
I was delighted to co-teach PDCs locally and internationally to students of all ages, from all social backgrounds and set of skills, including university graduates and post graduates, householders, expats, professionals from various disciplines and farmers.
I have had the opportunity to work with a wide spectrum of entities such as NGOs, schools, community centers, companies, vocational centers, farms, art centers, the private sector and the public sector at home and abroad.
My expertise is multidisciplinary, holistic, hans on, practical, grass-root as well as academic. This has given me the opportunity to easily connect and work with all parts of the society.
