WWOOFING at Mere Brow Farm

Mere Brow are delighted to announce that we are now signed up as WWOOF Hosts.

WWOOF stands for WorldWide Opportunities on Organic Farms. A worldwide movement linking visitors with organic farmers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchange thereby helping to build a sustainable community.

We have a new purpose built bunkhouse that sleeps 6 dormitory style, with separate bathroom and kitchen/diner/lounge area. Most importantly its toasty warm in the winter months!

We have availability from 8th September through to 27th October (we already have one volunteer signed up so this will be sharing the dormitory) and from 9th February 2020 onward.

September will see us undertake our first hazelnut harvest which is exciting and we will begin our winter programme of tree care and maintenance.

As an organic farm (primarily fruit and nuts) built from scratch and with over 5,000 trees planted in the last 3 years we have lots of knowledge to share but are also keen to learn from our visitors.

To apply to visit and stay with us visit WWOOF.ORG.UK and search for us on the find a host page our member id is #1004105
